Mary Attie Duvall Crosswaite

September 2, 1917 - November 19, 2008

Mrs. Mary Attie Duvall Crosswaite was born in Owen County, Kentucky on September 2, 1917 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Grant County in Williamstown, Kentucky on November 19, 2008 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late William and Leona Jones Duvall.

On August 10, 1935 she was united in marriage with Uval Crosswaite who preceded his wife in death on November 10, 1971. Mary is survived by one son: Donald Crosswaite of Williamstown, KY; two brothers: Chester Duvall of Kensington, OH. and Albert Duvall of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters: Rosa Mae Duvall of Cincinnati, OH and Helen Benn of Texas; three grandchildren: Debbie Stewart, Susie Gordon and Donnie Crosswaite; five great grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Brittany, Cassie and Ashley; and many other relatives and friend. Two brothers and two sisters died earlier: Marion Duvall, Paul Duvall, Lola Whitehead and Royetta Duvall.

Mrs. Crosswaite was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Holbrook, KY. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 23, 2008 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY with visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Sunday. Burial will take place in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Holbrook. Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice.
