Steven Schmid

June 30, 1989 - November 19, 2008

Steven William Schmid was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on June 30, 1989 and passed away at the University Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 19, 2008 at the age of 19. He was the son of Florence Marie "Sissy" Adams Litzler and the late Robert William Schmid who died Dec. 15, 2004.

In addition to his loving mother,Mr. Schmid is survived by two sisters: Sara Dauwe of Hebron, KY and Hayley "Becca" Stines of Crittenden, KY; his maternal grandparents: Bob and Florence Adams of Union, KY; his paternal grandparents: Walter & Nancy Schmid of Warren MI; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

He had been a member of the National Guard Program through the Bluegrass Challenge Academy in Ft. Knox, KY. Steven was employed by the Dairy Queen restaurant in Walton, KY and formerly had worked at the Dry Ridge location.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY with visitation at the funeral home from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Bluegrass Challenge Academy.
