Thurman L Noel

June 24, 1923 - November 19, 2008

Thurman L. Noel was born June 24, 1923 in Owenton, Kentucky. He was the son of the late John David and Mae Poland Noel. Thurman passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 85.

Thurman was married to Mary Tuttle Noel on September 18, 1948 and at the time of his passing had been a devoted and loving husband of 60 years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, a farmer and retired factory worker for Natico, in Florence, Kentucky, and an active and dedicatedmember of the Crittenden Baptist Church.

In addition to Thurman's wife Mary, he is survived by 1 daughter, Addie Mae Caldwell of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; 3 sons, David Louis Noel and Calvin Noelof Dry Ridge, Kentucky, and Jeffrey Noel of Crittenden, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 8great grandchildren; 1 brother, Denton Noel of Williamstown, Kentucky; and 1 sister Alma Barnes of DryRidge, Kentucky.

Funeral services for Thurman will be at 2:00pm Saturday, November 22, 2008at the Crittenden Baptist Church and burial will be in the Jonesville I. O. O. F. Cemetery. Visitation for Thurman will be Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Crittenden Baptist Church.

Memorials are suggested to the Grant County Relay for Life or the Grant-Owen Camp of Gideons International.
