Tommy Callahan was born April 26, 1930 in Blaze, Kentucky to the late Albert Lee and Mabel Katherine Adams Callahan and passed away November 7, 2008 in Georgetown, Kentucky at the age of 78.


Mr. Callahan served his country in Korea as a member of the United States Army. Tommy was a retired city driver with Roadway Express. He was also a farmer andconstruction laborer for R.C. Durr and Paul Michels. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ in Cordova, KY as well as a member of the Crittenden-Dry Ridge Lodge #694 F & AM; Indra Consistory of Scottish Rite in Covington, KY; Oleika Shrine Temple in Lexington, KY; and Teamsters Local #100 in Cincinnati, OH.


Tommy is survived by one brother, Lee Callahan of Dry Ridge, KY; four sisters, Anna Frances Thompson of Corinth, KY, Lillian Perry of Norwood, OH, Rita Cleveland of Dry Ridge, KY, and Linda Howe of Corinth, KY.


He was preceded in death by one sister, Albert Schneider; and two brothers, James William and John Robert Callahan.


Services will be Wednesday November 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
