Betty Jean Thomas Johnson was born October 23, 1932 in Holbrook, Kentucky to Dowell and Gertrude Washum Thomas, and passed away October 27, 2008 at the New Horizons Medical Center in Owenton, Kentucky at the age of 76 years and 4 days.

Betty was a resident of Corinth, Kentucky. She was homemaker anda retired factory worker. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.

Betty is survived by four sons: Jackie Leonard Johnson of Corinth, KY, Robert Allan and Randall Thomas Johnson of Owenton, KY, and Gary Gene Johnson of Georgetown, KY; two brothers: Charles Ross Thomas of Wilmore, KY, and Albert Clyde Thomas of Williamstown, KY; 1 sister: Katherine Lucille Harris of Jonesville, KY; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following in the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
