Frances Poynter Love

May 20, 1928 - October 25, 2008

Frances Poynter Love was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 20, 1928 and passed away at the Knight's Personal Care in Williamstown, Kentucky on October 25, 2008 at the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late William Randolph and Pearl Nelson Poynter.

Mrs. Love was united in marriage on June 25, 1949 with John Dunn Love who preceded her in death on February 27, 2000. From this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Carol Guffey of Park Hills, KY. In addition to her loving daughter, Frances is survived by one grandson, Jonathan Guffey of Wake Forest, NC; two sisters: Helen Boden of Georgetown, KY and Dolores Jett of Englewood, FL and many other relatives and friends.

Frances was the head secretary for the William Booth Memorial Hospital L.P.N. School in Covington, KY for many years. She was a member of the Williamstown Woman's Club and the Williamstown Baptist Church. Memorials are suggested to the Williamstown Baptist Church building fund or church library, 214 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Elliston- Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
