Debbie Burden Smith

November 15, 1956 - September 18, 2008

Debbie Sue Burden Smith was born November 15, 1956 in Covington, KY and passed away September 18, 2008 at her residence in Dry Ridge, KY at the age 51. She was the daughter of the late Omer Lee and Imogene Browning Burden. On January 2, 1974, Debbie was united in marriage with Rickey Lee Smith.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son: Benjamin "B.J." Smith of Dry Ridge, KY; three daughters: Linette Miller of Williamstown, KY, Christina Young of Rockholds, KY, and Michelle Cayton of Dry Ridge, KY; four brothers: Omer Gene Burden of Florence, KY, Ronnie Burden of Flagstaff, AZ, Steve Burden of Walton, KY and Tim Burden of Union, KY; four sisters: Linda Bishop of Union, KY, Marcia Burden of Union, KY, Becky Clemons of Dry Ridge, KY and Tammy Mullins of Verona, KY and 13 grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith was the owner of the All Dogs Grooming in Dry Ridge, KY. She was a Horse Trainer and former restaurant manager of L & K Restaurant and Burns Brothers Truckstop. She had formerly been a seamstress for Sizamore Manufacturing. Debbie was a member of the Big Bone Baptist Church in Union, KY.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KYwith visitation from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Monday. Burial is in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial donations may be made to the Grassy Creek Christian Church or to any "Equine" association.
