Spencer William "Billy" Cook

July 27, 1924 - June 11, 2013

Spencer William "Billy" Cook, resident of Dry Ridge, was born in Williamstown, Kentucky on July 27, 1924 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on June 11, 2013 at the age of 88. A lifelong resident of Williamstown, Billy was the son of the late Spencer and Mamie Penick Cook.

On March 30, 1946, he was united in marriage with theformer Evelyn Eleanor Knight. In addition to his loving wife of over 66 years, Billy is survived by one daughter, Carol Jean Cook of Dry Ridge; two sisters: Mary Lou Neal of Erlanger and Jeanette West of Springboro, OH and other relatives and friends. One son, Timothy Wayne Cook and one brother, Charles Hubert Cook preceded Billy in death.

A former Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendent, Mr. Cook remained a member of the Clark's Creek Baptist Church. He worked as a machine operator for the Clow Corporationfor over 16 years and was a lifelong farmer.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 officiated by Rev. Donnie Straub and Rev. Tom Watkins. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly.
