Ralph K Merrill

March 10, 1925 - April 18, 2010

COVINGTON - Ralph K. Merrill, 85, was born in Covington, KY on March 10, 1925 to the late Walter and Odella Prows Merrill and departed this life on April 18th at Rosedale Manor in Covington. Mr. Merrill was preceded in death by his lovely wife Mary Margaret Kelley Merrill.

Mr. Merrill, a WWII Army veteran and bronze star recipient, worked as an Electric Motor Repair Technician for Westinghouse in Cincinnati, OH for 37 years. He was a member of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, where he was an usher for over 30 years.

Mr. Merrill is survived by one daughter, Kathy Holaday Bogen (Alan) of Alexandria, one grand daughter, Lori Lederer of Alexandria, and three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Morgan and Kendall Lederer.

Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 pm at Serenity Funeral Care on West 6th St., Covington, KY. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 12:30 pm at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption on Madison Avenue in Covington, KY. Burial will follow at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home of Verona, is handling the arrangements. No memorials suggested.
