Louis Margolen Jr

July 21, 1935 - December 27, 2009

Louis Margolen, Jr.formerly of Milford, Ohio was born in Cincinnati, OH on July 21, 1935 and passed away on December 27, 2009 at the Marian Medical Center, Santa Maria, CA at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Louis Margolen, Sr. and Mildred E. Kannady Margolen.

Mr. Margolen was united in marriage with Claire Mohr (married 44 years) who preceded him in death in January 2000. From this union four children were born: Theresa (Terri) Saldivar ofClovis, CA, Constance (Connie) Garcia of Solvang, CA, Daniel Margolen of Largo, FL and Pamela Bading of Cincinnati. In additonal to his loving children, Louis is survived by a brother, Thomas Margolen of Otway, OH, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, Ronald, his beloved yellow headed Amazon parrot and many other realatives and friends.

Mr. Margolen graduated from Mariemont High School, Cincinnati, OH and the Cincinnati Police Academy. He served on the City of Cincinnati Police Department for 25 years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police there also. He loved to fish, hunt, play softball, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, travelling and gardening with tropical plants.He was a former resident of Seminole, Florida.

Graveside memorial service is 2:00pm, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
