Ronald Sydnor

July 29, 1935 - March 14, 2010

Ronald Gene Sydnor, of Florence, Kentucky, was born in Grant County, Kentucky on July 29, 1935 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky on March 14, 2010 at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Clyde and Sylvia Mae House Sydnor.

On October 25, 1953, Mr. Sydnor was united in marriage with the former IreneHoward who preceded him in death on January 21, 2005. From this union three children were born: Jeannie Sydnor, Pam Sydnor, and Jeff Sydnor all of Crittenden, KY. In addition to his loving children, Ronald is survived by three brothers: Danny Sydnor of Dry Ridge, KY, Jim Sydnor of Williamstown, KY and Larry Sydnor of Erlanger, KY; three sisters: Jo Ann Milner of Union, KY, Linda Mildon of Florence, KY and Betty Johnson of Burlington, KY; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Sydnor was well known as the owner and operator of Crittenden Auto Sales and U-Save Auto Rental in Crittenden, KY and U-Save Auto Rental in Florence, KY. He was a member and former deacon at the Mt. Olivet Christian Church.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, March 20 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Crittenden Christian Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Olivet Christian Church, 2175 Heekin - Lawrenceville Rd., Williamstown, KY 41097
