David Sharkey

February 1, 1954 - February 27, 2010

David Lee Sharkey was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 1, 1954 and passed away at his residence in Williamstown, Kentucky on February 28, 2010 at the age of 56. He was the son of the late Robert Irvin and Alverta Jean Perkins Sharkey.

David is survived by his sisters: Barbara McCormick of Dry Ridge, KY, Donna Rymer of Crittenden, KY, Joanne Cummins of Williamstown, KY and Patty Ballard of Crittenden, KY; his brothers: Steve Sharkey of Port Orange, FL and Will Sharkey of Warsaw, KY; his stepfather, Andy Ingram of DryRidge, KY, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. David was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #137 in Williamstown, KY. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

Committal services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. A Celebration of Life for David will be held immediately following at the American Legion Hall in Williamstown, KY.
