Beulah Ballard Moses

October 10, 1924 - February 16, 2010

Beulah Elizabeth Ballard Moses,of Walton, KY,was born in Williamstown, Kentucky in Grant County and passed away at the Hospice of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky in Kenton County on February 16, 2010 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Stanley and Ida Frances Harrison Ballard.

Mrs. Moses was united in marriage on September 18, 1946 with Glenn Coolidge Moses who preceded her in death on June 9, 1999. From this union one son, Jim A. Moses of Elsmere, KY and one daughter, Judy F. Moses of Walton, KY survive. One daughter, Rita Marie Moses was stillborn in 1950. In addition to her loving son and daughter, Beulah is survived by one sister, Betty Ishmael of Latonia, KY; two grandsons, Travis and Micah Mason; four great grandchildren, Rebecca Mason, Micah Mason,Jr., Jessica Mason and Ashley Best and many other relatives and friends. Three sisters, Minnie Marie Gordon, Irene Stewart and Mary Ballard and one brother, John Ballard all died previously.

Mrs. Moses was a member of the First Baptist Church of Walton and a former cafeteria worker at Dixie Heights High School. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, Ky 41030. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
