Mike C Smith

Mike C. Smith, of Covington,was born in Covington, Kentucky on April 7, 1954 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood, KY on February 11, 2010 at the age of 55. He was the son of the late Carl Franklin and Georgia Hatmaker Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tamara Lynn Simpson Smith, better known as Tammy; three daughters: Crystal Green of Covington, KY, Shannon Walls of Dry Ridge, KY and Brandy Smith of Frankfort, KY; one stepson: Tim Smith of Cold Spring, KY; five grandchildren: Brittany, Emily, Austin, Mackenzy and Timmy; four brothers: Randy Marshall of Alexandria, KY, Randy Smith of Chicago, IL, Stu Marshall of Jacksonville, FL and Greg Smith of Mt. Zion, KY; one sister: Lisa Gail Bourff of LaFollette, TN; a stepmother: Naomi Smith of Florence, KY; a stepgrandmother: Allena Stewart of Florence, KY and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Smith was a 1973 graduate of the Grant County High School and a former employee of Clow Corp., A.T.S., Littleford Day Co. and Tyco. He was the former President of A Action Door Company of Covington, KY.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
