Bill Steele

April 6, 1943 - February 11, 2010

William Lawrence Steele was born in Geneva, Ohio in Ashtabula County on April 6, 1943 and passed away at his home in Verona, Kentucky in Boone County on February 11, 2010 at the age of 66. He was the son of the late Fredrick Willis and Jane Louise Barrow Steele.

On March 28, 1970, Bill was united in marriage with the former Jeanne Ellen Fuller. From this union two sons were born, William Cooper Steele of Ft. Mitchell, KY and Lawrence Reid Steele of Elsmere, KY. In addition to his loving wife and sons, Mr. Steele is survived by his sister, Dorothy Hemmi of Jefferson, OH and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Steele was a district sales manager for Merck and Company, is a pharmaceutical company. He and his wife relocated to Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky from Ohio in 1969 and moved to Verona in 1996.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 15, 2010at 11:00 AM at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton - Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Wood Hudson Cancer Laboratory, 931 Isabella Ave., Newport, KY 41071.
