Patsy Sargent Smith

May 27, 1938 - February 2, 2010

Patsy Sue Sargent Smith was born in Williamstown, Kentucky in Grant County on May 27, 1939 and passed away at her residence in Independence, Kentucky in Kenton County on February 2, 2010 at the age of 71. She was the daughtter of the late William Howard and Mary Kathern Gulick Sargent.

On Decenber 22, 1956, Patsy was united in marriage with John L. Smith. From this union, three daughters: Amy Smith Yost of Lebanon, OH, Susan Smith Niece of Independence, KY and Becky Smith Egan of Independence, KY and one son: Dennis Smith of Independence, KYwere born. In addition to her loving husband and children, Mrs. Smith is survived by her brother, Cecil "Buck" Sargent of Dry Ridge, KY and her sister, Jewell Smith of Crestview Hills, KY; nine grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. One sister, her twin, Jenna Lou Sargent Brown preceded her in death in October of 2002.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a former Title Clerk for several area automobile dealers. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 207 Southern Ave., Covington, KY. Visitation will also be at the church from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2010. Burial will follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Home Health Hospice.
