Dewey Thomas Peluso Sr

June 22, 1940 - January 30, 2010

Dewey Thomas Peluso, Sr. was born in Newport, Kentucky on June 22, 1940 and passed away at his residence in Demossville, Kentucky on January 30, 2010 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Dewey Louis and Elizabeth Jane Sweeney Peluso.

On May 18, 1960, Dewey was united in marriage with the former Evelyn Mary Brooke. From this union four sons: Dewey Thomas Peluso, Jr. of Crescent Springs, KY; Anthony Wayne Peluso, Christopher Robert Peluso and Louis Nicholas Peluso all of Demossville, KY and one daughter: Angela Yvonne Wheeler of Cleveland, TX were born. In addition to his loving wife and children, Mr. Peluso is survived by two brothers: Paul Peluso of Batavia, OH and Louie Peluso of Taylor Mill, KY; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Peluso served his country in the United State Navy. He was a faithful member of the St. John's Catholic Mission, a member of the Pendleton County Soil Conservation Board, a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ludlow, KY; and a former member of the Robert Fulton VFW Post in Elsmere, KY.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the St. Williams Catholic Church, Williamstown, KY. Burial will take place in the St. John's Catholic Mission Cemetery, Demossville, KY. Memorials may be made to the St. John's Cemetery Fund, 1657 Kelly Rd., Demossville, KY 41033. Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY in charge of the arrangements.
