Josephine Esther Robinson

September 2, 1932 - December 17, 2015

Josephine Esther Hocker Robinson was born September 2, 1932 in Anvil, KY and passed away December 17, 2015 at her residence in Verona, KY at the age of 83. She was the daughter of the late Richard Patsyand Tilda Jane Gumm Hocker.

Josephine was a devoted member of the Verona 1st Full Gospel Church of God and spent much of her time reading the Bible and singing. She retired as the former owner of Robinson's Grocery.

On Nov. 7, 1947, Josephine was united in marriage to Randall Robinson. In addition to her husband of more than 68 years, she is survived by a son: Tony Robinson of Verona; two daughters: Ethel Marlene Sturgeon Richards of Verona and Lisa Rena York of Crittenden; a brother: Marvin Hocker of Camden, OH; and 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Timothy Robinson and a brother: Rev. David Hocker.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at Verona 1st Full Gospel Church of God in Verona. Visitation will be 3:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the church. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
