Mitchell Howard

Mitchell Howard of Crittenden, KY and formerly of Verona, KY was born May 28, 1948 in Jackson, KY and died Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 67.

Mitchell was the son of the late Ambrose and Dora Bowling Howard, a retired mechanic, and an Army Veteran and Purple Heart recipient of the Vietnam War. On May 5, 1979 he was united in marriage to his wife Carol Rose Kammerer Howard, and was preceded in death by a son Nathan Howard in 2013.
In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by 1 daughter, Marlene C. Howard (Roger,Sr.) Dalton of Crittenden; 4 grandchildren, Roger Dalton Jr., Tyler Mitchell Dalton, and Gabriel Michelle Dalton all of Crittenden, and Rachel Arlene Howard of Toledo, OH; 2 brothers, Monroe Howard of Batavia, OH and Ollie Howard of Jackson, KY; and family friend Shirley Kostek of Florence.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Visitation will also be Monday from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
