David J Dykes

David Jackson Dykes was born in Covington, Kentucky in Kenton County on January 13, 1950 and passed away at the Hospice of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky in Kenton County on August 27, 2010 at the age of 60. He was the son of Bobbie Lavonne Huffman Dykes and the late Thomas Jackson Dykes.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie of Florence, KY; his brother: Robert Dykes of Florence; his sister: Pam Blackburn of Taylor Mill; his daughter: Natosha Bush; two grandchildren and many other friends and relatives. David was employed in road construction and was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home 14635 Walton - Verona Rd., Verona, Kentucky 41092. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2010. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice of St. Elizabeth, 409 S. Loop Rd. Edgewood, KY 41018.
