Barbara E Richardson

June 7, 1945 - August 16, 2010

Barbara Elizabeth Spegal Richardson was born in Mt. Zion, Kentucky in Grant County on June 7, 1945 and passed away at her residence in the Lawrenceville Community in Williamstown, Kentucky on August 16, 2010 at the age of 65. She was the daughter of the late Harold Herbert and Edna Laverne Dahms Spegal.

On April 19, 1965 Mrs. Richardson was united in marriage with Larry Marshall Richardson better known as "Chuck". From this union two daughters: Angela Hisle of Berea and Diane Porter of Williamstown and three sons: David Richardson of Williamstown, Greg Richardson of Richmond, TX and Jonathan Richardson of Williamstown were born. In addition to her loving husband and children, Barbara is survived by eight grandchildren: Lauren, Raigan & RyanRichardson, Hannah, Micah &Luke Hisle, Grace & Abigail Porter;one brother: Ray Spegal of Mt. Zion; two sisters: Ella Jean Dowell of Elsmere and Shirley Rhoton of Dry Ridge and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Richardson was a very active member of the Lawrenceville Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, member of the choir, Women's Missionary Union and the Bereavement Committee. She was a graduate of the Grant County High School andan Instructional Aide for the Title I Program at the Mason - Corinth Elementary School for over 15 years.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Grant County, Kentucky. Memorial donations are suggested to the Lawrenceville Baptist Church Manger Ministry or the Mason - Corinth Elementary School Teacher Supplies Fund.
