Donald Albert Scherer

Donald Albert Scherer, 80, formerly of Florence, died Thurs., Oct. 2l, 20l0 at the home of his daughter in Cynthiana, Ky. after a long illness. He was a retired truck driver for Artistic Furniture Co. and Macke Bros. in Cincinnati. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War era and member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Elsmere.

Survivors include his wife, Celeste Herrmann Scherer, Florence, three daughters, Brenda Haughaboo, Cynthiana, Sandra Taulbee, Union, and Linda Kincaid, Georgetown, two sons, Donald A. "Butch" Scherer, Jr., Florence, and Mark A. Scherer, Union, one sister, Delores Connelly, Bowling Green, KY., one stepbrother, Raymond Dedden, California, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial mass will be at l2:00 Noon Tues., Oct. 26 at All Saints Catholic Church, Walton, with visitation at the church after 10:00 a.m. Tues. Committal service will follow at Ky.
