JOHNNY W. SIMPSON, 96 died Monday, October 4th at his residence in Crittenden, KY.

He was a lifetime farmer and member of the Crittenden Baptist Church.

His wife of 73 years, Williah Lee Scott Simpson died November 9, 2009. He is also preceded in death by his father and mother, Webb Anderson Simpson and Pearl Roland Simpson.

He is survived by one son, Wilbur Anderson Simpson of Crittenden; two daughters, Betty Ann Rodgers and Beverly Kay Mulberry of Crittenden; five brothers, Merle Simpson of Greenburg, IN, Allen Simpson of Middletown, OH, David Simpson of Prague, OK, Franklin Simpson and Ronnie Simpson of Independence; one sister, Gladys R. Fisk of Crittenden; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11am to 2 pm with funeral service at 2 pm on Thursday, October 7th at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Burial will be in Crittenden Cemetery, Crittenden, KY..
