Ruth M Coffey

July 15, 1917 - September 28, 2010

Ruth Magdelene Garrett Coffey was born in Celina, Tennessee on July 15, 1917 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence, Kentucky on September28, 2010 at the age of 93. She was thedaughter of the late Winford Leslie and Margaret Zona Barlow Garrett. On March 7, 1952, Ruth was united in marriage with Edward Perry Coffeywho preceded her indeath on February19, 1984.

Mrs.Coffey is survived by herson: James E. Craig of Houston, TX; her daughters: Judy Kay Britt of Kennersville, NC, Jean Massingille of Gallatin, TX and Wilma Rusk of Noblesville, IN; her sisters: Bonnie Head of Celina TN and Anna May Hunley of South Carolina; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

She was a former employee of Kenner Products in Cincinnati and a seamstress for Rauh Shirt Co. and Mack Shirt Co. Ruth remained a member of the Williamstown PentecostalHoliness Church of God.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the McKinney Cemetery in McKinney, Kentucky in Lincoln County at 3:00 PM, Saturday.
