Ella Jean Lawson

Ella Jean Smith Lawson, 68 of Verona died Saturday, July 31 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY.

She was a homemaker and farmer and a member of the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly , Dry Ridge, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Otis Clyde Smith.

She is survived by her mother, Hazel Smith of Cookeville, TN; her husband of 49 years, Willard Lawson, Verona; two daughters, Freida Gwen Perks and Deine Lawson (this is the correct spelling of first name) of Verona; one son, Terry Lawson of Verona; four brothers, Clyde Smith of Warsaw, Roy Smith of Elsmere, Donnie Smith of Campton, Charles Ray Smith, Beaver Creek, OH; nine sisters, Margaret Lawson, Glorene Looper, Lillian Brewer, Regina Gale Auston all of Cookeville, TN, Alene Ivey of Dayton, OH, Phyllis Dunn of Campton, Irene Foley of Bethel, OH, Carldene Creech of Rogers, Evalee Dial of Livingston, TN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5pm-9pm, Tuesday, August 3rd with funeral at 1pm, Wednesday, August 4th both at the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly, 3295 Dixie Hwy., Dry Ridge, KY. Burial will be in the Napoleon Cemetery, Gallatin County, KY.
