Everett F Flanagan

June 1, 1933 - July 18, 2010

Everett F. Flanagan, of Williamstown, was born in Nancy, Kentucky on June 1, 1933 and passed away at his residence on July 18, 2010 at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Lilburn Beckham and Mamie Catherine Ard Flanagan.

Everett is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Helen Richmond Flanagan; four sons: Roger Lee Flanagan of Corinth, KY, Johnny Mark Lee of Erlanger, KY, Joseph Michael Lee of Williamstown, KY and Daniel Flanagan of Crittenden, KY; one sister: Wanda Hopper of Faubush, KY; one brother: Johnathon Flanagan of Frederick, MD; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Three sons: Dale EverettFlanagan, Russell Lynn Flanagan and Anthony Wayne Lee; one brother: Walter Flanagan and one sister: Hazel Watson all preceded Mr. Flanagan in death.

Mr. Flanagan had been in the used car business for over 41 years and presently was owner and operator of Saratoga Auto Sales in Williamstown. He was a 45 year member of the E.T.Carson Lodge #0598 F. & A.M. in Cincinnati, Ohio and a Kentucky Colonel. He was an active member of the Williamstown Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. A masonic service will be held on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Williamstown BaptistChurch, Building Fund, 214 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
