Reva Reed

April 9, 1930 - July 2, 2010

Reva Williams Reed was born in Perry County, Kentucky on April 9, 1930 and passed away at her residence in Independence,Kentucky on July 2, 2010 at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Chalmer Orlie and Louise Crase Williams.

On June 14, 1948 Reva was united in marriage with Corbit Reed who preceded his wife in death on October 23, 2005. From this union three duaghters were born: Kathy Wesley of Edgewood, KY; Paula Reed and Venetia Ross of Independence, KY. In addition to her loving daughters, Mrs. Reed is survived by a brother: Simon Joseph Williams of Burlington, KY and a sister: Carmoleda Hamblin of Erlanger, KY; five grandchildren: Mark Lostutter, Tawnia Sander, Chris Colcord, Robin Ross and Ryan Ross; four great grandchildren: Matthew and Katie Lostutter and Kendell and Darrin Sander, Jr. and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Reed was an inspector for the Equitable Bag Company and a member of the Fowler Creek Baptist Church in Independence. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at theHamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY41092with visitation at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Fowler Creek Baptist Church.
