Leroy "Bobe" Adams

January 10, 1921 - July 1, 2010

Leroy "Bobe" Adams, 89 of Crittenden died Thursday, July 1 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY.

Mr. Adams was born in Mason, KY. He was a machinist for the American Tool Company in Cincinnati, OH and Trailmobile. He was also a farmer. He served in the US Army during WWII in the 95th Infantry Division in Europe.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Sadie Drake Adams; his first wife, Ruby Clark Adams, a daughter, Brenda Joyce Adams. a sister, Nannie Mae Cook and a brother, Earsel Clyde Adams.

Survivors include his wife, EdnaAdams; one son, Darrell Lee Adams, London, OH; four step sons, Timmy Mason, Williamstown, Mikey Dearing, Walton, David Turner, Park Hills, Terry Turner, Union; four step daughters, Brenda Foltz, Florence, Helen Valentine, Crittenden, Libby Burke, Dry Ridge, Cindy Coleman, Mason, KY; two brothers, William Adams, Mason, KY , Charles Adams, Florence, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, fourteen step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 3 with the service on Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
