Ronald F Gosney

Ronald Floyd Gosney was born in Covington, Kentucky on September 16, 1948 and passed away at his residence in Gallatin County, Kentucky on June 27, 2010 at the age of 61. He was the son of the late William Floyd and Fern Elizabeth "Betty" Singleton Gosney.

Ron is survived by his wife, Brenda Gail Rudd Gosney; his daughters: Rhonda Gail Gosney Glatting of Edgewood, KY, Erin Renee Gosney Thurston of Burlington, KY and Katherine Noelle Gosney of Covington, KY; his sons: David Edward Tackett of Warsaw, KY, Brian Wesley Tackett of Verona, KY, Darren Brandon Tackett of Verona, KY and Loren Keith Tackett of Sanders, KY; his sister: Donna Carol Gosney Anness of Florence, KY; his grandchildren: Samantha Murray, Shawn Glatting, Shyanna Tackett, Justin Tackett, Brendan Tackett, Paige Thurston, Lauren Tackett, Chesley Tackett and Katherine Tackett; his great granddaughter: Nevaeh Murray and many other relatives and friends.

Mr.Gosney was a member of the Florence Christian Church. He was Past Master in 1988 of the Burlington Lodge #264 F. & A.M. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton - Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41097. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 - 9:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2010. Masonic Services will be held 7:30 PM Thursday evening during the visitation. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042.
