Imogene Colson McAdams

November 7, 1924 - June 10, 2010

Imogene Colson McAdams was born in the Keefer Community of Grant County, Kentucky near Corinth on November 7, 1924. She passed away at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 10, 2010 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late William Perry and Anna Belle Dean Colson and was one of a family of ten.

On June 5, 1949 Imogene was united in marriage with Henry J. McAdams. In addition to her loving husband of 61 years, she is survived by two daughters: Sherry Ann Johnson of Kalkaska, Michigan,and Shawn Marie Fleenor of Fishers, Indiana, one son: Michael Henry McAdams of Oxford, Michigan, two sisters: Elizabeth Bowman of Corinth,Patsy Simpson of Dry Ridge, one brother, Jesse Colson of Corinth, Kentucky; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. McAdams was a homemaker and a member of the Sherman Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, June 13, 2010. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Corinth, KY.
