William Whalen "Billy" May

June 23, 1934 - May 18, 2010

William W. "Billy" May of Williamstown, KY, was born June 23, 1934 in Crittenden, KY. He passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at the V.A. Living Center, in Ft. Thomas, KY.

He was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Sadie Palmer Whalen May. He was a 17 year veteran, and Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, an employee of the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Cincinnati, OH, a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church, member of the D.A.V. #26 in Falmouth, KY, and a member of the Robert P. McLachlin American Legion Post # 137.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Donna Marie May of Massachusetts; 2 brothers Doug May of Williamstown, KY, and Harold May of Milan, IN; 2 sisters Pat Hutchinson and Barbara Straub both of Demossville, KY; several nieces; nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY, with burial in the Broadridge Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will also be Sunday, at the funeral home after 1:00pm.
