Judith Carol Vendler

December 31, 1944 - April 27, 2010

Judith Carol Rogers Vendler of Williamstownwas born December 31, 1944in Montgomery County, Kentucky and passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 atthe Owenton Manor Health Care Facility, Owenton, KY at the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Charles Bruce Rogers and Anna Laughlin Rogers and the sister of the late Alton Ray Rogers.

She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ, Williamstown, KY. She was a homemaker but formerly had served as corrections officer for fourteen years with the Grant County Detention Center, Williamstown, KY.

On January 27, 1960 Judith was united in marriage to Kenneth Glenn Vendler of Williamstown. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Angela Ashley, Lexington, KY, Kenna Barnett, Grove City, PA and Johannah Smith, Jonesville, KY; one son: Kenneth Charles Walter Vendler, Delhi, OH and three grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will also be Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. The burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
