Ethel Florence Carter

Ethel Florence Carter of Williamstown, KY, was born January 11, 1925, in Goodwill, WV. She passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010, at her residence at the age of 85.

She was the daughter of the late William Nathaniel and Ollie Elizabeth McMillan Jenkins, a member of the Roanoke Christian Church, a homemaker and during WWII she worked as Rosie Riveter for the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, in Dayton, OH. Ethel was preceded in death by her1st. husband Conway Cline in 1974, and her2nd. husband Edward Carter in 1990.

She is survived by one son Michael Cline of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 daughters, Cindy Jernigan of Williamstown, KY, and Deborah Tinch of Kettering, OH; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 brother Jessie Jenkins of Bluefield,WV.

Visitation will be 4:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY.Funeralservices will be 10:00am Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at the funeral home, withgraveside services at 2:00pm Wednesday at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, Oh.
