Ira William "Bill" Dance

Ira William "Bill" Dance was born March 1, 1917 in Sherman, Kentucky. He passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 92.

Bill was the son of the late Ferdie Robert and Clara Belle Readnour Dance, he was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ, in Liberty, Indiana, and he was a retired supervisor for Lily Industrial Coating, Indianapolis, Indiana. Bill was united in marriage April 4, 1938, to Ruth Phelps Dance.

In addition tohis wife of 71 years, Bill is survived by, 1 son, Dennis William Dance of Rockford, IL; 1 daughter Merilyn Rae Summers of Lake City, FL; and 1 granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Dance of Rockford, IL.

Funeral services for Bill are 2:00pm Tuesday, Aug 11, 2009, at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY, with burial in Hillcrest, Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
