Laurel Porter Kenney Sr

November 9, 1918 - July 13, 2009

Laurel Porter Kenney, Sr. was born November 9, 1918 in Owenton, Kentucky to the late Salin and Eurdale Minch Kenney and passed away on July 13, 2009 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 90 years.

In addition to his parents, Laurel was preceded in death by his wife Anna Lodema Toole Kenney in 2004 as well as one son Lester Kenney. He is survived by four sons: Charles Kenney of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jesse Kenney on Bogart, GA, Laurel Kenney, Jr. of Dry Ridge, KY, and Freddie Kenney of Crittenden, KY; one daughter: Diana Delph Robinson of Florence, KY; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.

Mr. Kenney remained a member of the Community Family Church in Independence and the Walton-Verona Lodge #719 F & AM. He was also the Owner & Operator of A & L Refrigeration.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 15 at 11:00 AM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. The visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 14 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden. The burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
