William H Filson

William Howard Filson of Elsmere, Kentucky, was born January 15, 1926, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away at his residence in Elsmere, Kentucky, Monday, July 6, 2009, at the age of 83.

William was the son of the late Harold Billiter Filson and Mary Howard Filson. He was a 1944 graduate of the Williamstown High School,a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII, a member of the Hilltop Church of Christ, a retired Asst. Cashier for Peoples Liberty Bank of Covington, Kentucky, and a retired employee for the engineer department of the Kentucky Department of Transportation.

William is survived by 2 sons, James H. Filson of Lexington, Kentucky and W. Kevin Filson of Henersonville, North Carolina; 2 grandsons, Jeremy Filson of Covington, Kentucky and Joshua Filson of Nicolasville, Kentucky; and 2 granddaughters, Kindra Filson and Nicolette Filson both of Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Graveside services for William will be 11:00am Thursday, July 9, 2009, at the Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, Kentucky.
