Grant Griffith

July 18, 1980 - July 3, 2009

Grant Griffith, of Williamstown,was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on July 18, 1980 and passed away in Williamstown, Kentucky on July 3, 2009 from injuries suffered in a boating accident at the age of 28. He was the son of Joel Travis and Janet Lynn Stull Griffith of Dry Ridge, KY.

On May 18, 2003 Grant was united in marriage with Ann Marie Jackson. From this union twin sons were born: Lane Grant Griffith and Landon Joel Griffith. In addition to his loving wife, sons and parents, He is survived by one sister, Stacy Wehsollek of Ellettsville, IN; two brothers, Brian Griffith of Williamstown, KY and Garrett Griffith of Dry Ridge, KY; Maternal Grandfather, Jack (Lee) Stull of Waterford, PA; Paternal Grandfather, Travis Griffith of Williamstown, KY and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Griffith was a graduate of the Grant County High School. He was an Eligibility Worker for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services in Williamstown.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Grant County, KY. Friends may call at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 or at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
