Paul Wayne Alexander

June 26, 1953 - June 17, 2009

Paul Wayne "Sparky" Alexander was born in Grant County, Kentucky on June 26, 1953 and passed away in Madison, Indiana on June 17, 2009 at the age of 55. He was the son of the late Ray & Savannah Osborne Alexander.

On February 4, 1977, Paul Wayne was united in marriage with the former Doris Jean Wright. From this union four children were born. A son, Gregory Wayne Alexander preceded his father in death. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two sons: Robert Brian Alexander of Madison, IN and David Paul Alexander of Vevay, IN; one daughter: Carrie Jo Ann Gillis of Jacksonville, NC; two brothers: Dr. Ray Alexander, Jr. of Georgetown, KY and James Douglas Alexander of Cynthiana, KY; one granddaughter: Madisan Shyann of Jacksonville, NC and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Alexander was a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church in Grant County, Kentucky and a Black Jack Dealer at the Belterra Casino Resort in Vevay, IN. He had been County Magistrate in Grant County, Kentucky and a Little League Baseball Coach.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon until time of services at 2:00 PM on Sunday. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
