Marshall E Beach

September 7, 1943 - June 7, 2009

Marshall Eckler Beach was born in Elliston, Kentucky in Grant County on September 7, 1943 and passed away at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 7, 2009 at the age of 65. He was the son of the late Broadus Eckler Beach who preceded his son in death on June 8, 1996 andEvelyn Marie Beach who resides in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.

In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marian Mae Steumer Beach who continues to live in Dry Ridge; his son, Travis Beach of Dry Ridge; his daughter, Karen Lachelle Smith of York, SC; his sister, Janet Lewis of Dry Ridge; seven grandchildren: Logan Epperson, Whitney Beach, Damon Laks, Cameron Beach, Kinzie Epperson, Zachary Smith, and Chase Beach; and many other relatives and friends. One sister, Judith Marie Beach Brandenburg died previously.

Marshall was a maintenance employee for the McDonald's Restaurant in Dry Ridge, KY for over 20 years and had been a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for the Clow Corporation. He was a member of the Vine Run Baptist Church and a 1961 graduate of the Grant County High School.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be from Noon until time of the funeral on Thursday. Burial will take place in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Vine Run Baptist Church, 8805 Warsaw Rd., Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
