Robert Lee Lawrence

March 8, 1933 - May 25, 2009

Robert Lee Lawrence was born in Williamstown, Kentucky on March 8, 1933 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth - Edgewood in Edgewood, Kentucky on May 25, 2009 at the age of 76. He was the son of the late Lee and Cynthia Ella Mitts Lawrence.

He is survived by one sister, Nancy Powell of Florence, KY; one niece, Cindy McGough of Williamstown, KY and many other relatives and friends. He was united in marriage with Peggy Rae Bowie on April 29, 1957. Peggy preceded Bob in death on March 26, 1989.

Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army.He wasa land surveyor with Paul Burnside Surveying and remained a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will also be on Monday from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
