Arthur Rude Courtright

Arthur R. Courtright of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, was born February 5, 1925 in Wayne County, Illinois. He passed away Monday, May 25, 2009, in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, at the of 84.

Arthur was the son of the late Stockley Rude and Gladys Fields Courtright. He was a retired Ward Administrator for the Mental Health Clinic for the State of Illinois, a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, Dry Ridge, and was united in marriage on July 18, 1983 to Janet Marie Mace Courtright.

In addition tohis wife Janet, Arthur is also survived by 2 daughters Ricki Lapington of Louisville, Illinois, andSherri Lynn Koopmans of Union, Kentucky; 3 sons, RodCourtright of Irwin, Illinois, and Scottand Kelly Courtright both of Louisville, Illinois; 20 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and 1 brother Pete Courtright of Waukegan, Illinois.

Funeral services for Arthur will be at 11:00am Saturday, May 30, 2009, at the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, Dry Ridge, Kentucky, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation for Arthur will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, May 29, 2009, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, Kentucky.
