Arlin Robinson, resident of Dry Ridge, was born in Clay County, Kentucky on March 23, 1912 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Grant County in Williamstown, Kentucky on September 15, 2013 at the age of 101.He was the last surviving child of seven born to the late Jay and Sara Strong Robinson.


On March 3, 1932, Arlin was united in marriage with the former Peggy Bell Patterson who preceded him in death on January 21, 2009 after more than 76 years of marriage.From this union three daughters and six sons survive: Jean Coy of Williamstown, Mary E. Arnold of Williamstown and Ola Mae Elliott of Williamstown, John Robinson of Babson Park, Florida, Billy Robinson of Mason, Ohio, Kenny Robinson of Walton, Glenn Robinson of Dry Ridge, Gary Robinson of Visalia and Gerald Robinson of Crittenden.In addition to his loving children, Mr. Robinson is survived by 29 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
A Kentucky Colonel, Mr. Robinson received several honors as he reached his 100th birthday.He was a lifelong farmer and former mail carrier and carpenter.He remained a faithful member of the Sherman full Gospel Assembly at the time of his death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.Rev. Gayliss Gaines will be officiating with music provided by Mrs. Mary Gaines.Visitation will be at the funeral home, 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2013.Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.Memorials are suggested to the Sherman Full Gospel, 3185 Dixie Highway, Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
