Orvell William Schooler was born in Warsaw, Kentucky on November 26, 1949 and passed away suddenly at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Grant County in Williamstown, Kentucky on August 28, 2013 at the age of 63. He was the son of the late Prentice Arthur and Inez Mae Coleman Schooler.
On March 19, 1977, Orvell was united in marriage with Charlene Jordan who preceded him in death. He is survived by one daughter, Alexa Lynn Merrill of Georgetown; his niece and caregiver, Connie Eaton of Williamstown; sisters: Sally Hoover of Falmouth, Brenda Hatfield of Williamstown, Wilma Hamilton of Williamstown and Daisy Hamilton of Florence; brothers: Ira Gene Schooler of Germantown, Jeff Hamilton of Verona and George Hamilton of Verona and five grandchildren.
Several brothers and sisterspreceded Orvell in death:Harry Schooler, Robert Schooler, Stanley Schooler,Irvin Coleman, Mary Katherine Schooler, and Jerry Hamilton
A brick layer by trade and a former employee of Equitable Bag Company, Mr. Schooler was a veteran of the United States Army with whom he served in Vietnam. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
