Mary A Scott Luce

February 9, 1934 - August 17, 2013

Mary A. Luce, an Avon, IN resident, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, IN, at the age of 79. She was the widow of Raymond Luce.

Mrs. Luce was a nurse and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She was a nurse at many hospitals and nursing homes throughout her lifetime. She loved to golf and loved her grandchildren deeply.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Luce was preceded in death by her son, Clifford. She is survived by three sons, George Luce of Vincennes, IN, Stephen Luce of Bloomington, IN, Patrick Luce of Avon, IN, one daughter, Mary Bloom of Avon, IN, three sisters, Frances Scott Staten of Hebron, Patricia A. Scott of Walton, Gloria D. Parker of Verona, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 22, from 5-8 pm at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral mass will be Friday at 11am at All Saints Catholic Church, Walton, KY. Burial will follow at St. Patrick''s Cemetery in Verona, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent Hospice, 8450 N. Payne Rd., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
