Adrian Hamilton

April 11, 1928 - August 10, 2013

Adrian "Eggie" Hamilton was born April 11, 1928 in McKinneysburg, KY and passed away Aug. 10, 2013 in Erlanger, Kentucky at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Everette and Nora Owens Hamilton.

Eggie was a Navy veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific. He was retired powerhouse attendant for Interlake Steel and remained a member of the Boone Union Lodge F & AM #304.

In addition to his parents, Adrian was preceded in death by his wifeNola Hamiltonin 1997 and a sister: Verona Cookendorfer.

He is survived by 5 sons: Stephen (Susan) Hamilton of Florence, Thomas Hamilton of Florence, Keith (Connie) Hamilton of Florence, James Hamilton of Erlanger, and Clifford Hamilton of Latonia; his daughter: Barbara Willis of Dayton; an adopted son: Thomas Hamilton of Union; a sister: Elnora Fossett of Ft. Thomas; and 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the Hughes Chapel Cemetery in Union.
