Gerald Stith

November 20, 1943 - July 26, 2013

Gerald Stith was born on November 20, 1943 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away at his ressidence in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on July 26, 2013 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Sarah Ethel Race and Clarence Huffman Stith.

On June 27, 1964, Gerald was united in marriage with the former Patsy Carol O'Neill. From this unionthree sons were born: Jeffrey Stith of Dry Ridge, Gregory Stith of Dry Ridge and Kevin (Jessica) Stith of Georgetown. Also surviving are three brothers: Benton Stith of Chipley, Florida, Jerry Stith of Dry Ridge and Larry Stith of Dry Ridge; one sister: Annalee Compton of Navarre, Florida and four grandchildren: Kristin Stith, Erica Stith, Marcus Stith and McCarron Stith.

A member of the Grant County Cattleman's Association, Mr. Stith was a retired "over the road" truck driver for McLean Trucking and Roadway Express. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #100 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 29 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Home Health Hospice, the Lexington, Kentucky Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
