Lee Callahan

February 19, 1937 - July 25, 2013

Eishmal Lee Callahan was born in Blaze, Kentucky in Morgan County on February 19,1937 and passed away at his residence in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on July 25, 2013 at the age of 76. Lee was the son of the late Albert Lee and Mable Kathryn Adams Callahan.

On September 2, 2000, Lee was united in marriage with Sue Ware. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two daughters: Lisa Crupper of Crescent Springs and Patricia Taylor of Williamstown; one son: Rick Callahan of Falmouth; three sisters: Rita Mae Cleveland of Dry Ridge, Lillian Perry of Cincinnati and Linda Howe of Corinth; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Three brothers, Tommy Callahan,Bill Callahan, and Bobby Callahan and two sisters, Alberta Schneider and Anna Frances Thompson preceded Lee in death.

A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Callahan was a pipe fitter for Paul Michels and Sons Construction and R. C. Durr Contractors. He was a member of the Robert McLachlin American Legion Post in Williamstown.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will also be on Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North, Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Burns Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.
