John Erwin Brown

October 5, 1946 - January 16, 2017

John E. Brown was born October 5, 1946 in New Castle, Indiana and passed away Jan. 16, 2017 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 70.  He was the son of the late Frank and Margaret Kathryn Vanziles Brown.

John was a veteran of the United States Army and was a wholesale trader.

He was survived by 2 sisters: Laura Worthington Shouse of Burlington and Carol Worthington of Boynton Beach, FL; 6 nephews: Joseph Guffey of Burlington, Jami Larry of Cincinnati, Robert Rourk of Florida, Bobby Larry of Cincinnati, Robert Ziegler of Coconut Creek, FL and Vincent Larry of Cincinnati; and 3 nieces: Carolyn Patrick of Walton, Vicki Larry of Cincinnati and Lisa Rourk of Grant Co., KY.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Frank Brown and James Larry; and a sister: Lisa Worthington.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.  Military honors will be presented by Elsmere Honor Guard.
