Emma Jean Bailey

June 18, 1930 - January 14, 2017

Emma Jean Bailey, 86, passed away Saturday January 14th at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. She was born on June 18, 1930 in Prestonburg, KY. She was married on January 23, 1981 to Troy "Ed" Bailey at Knoxville Baptist Church. Emma was a housewife; along with her husband, they owned and operated the "Maw & Paw" Restaurant in Owenton for several years. She had attended Knoxville Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one son: Dan Bailey of Williamstown; three daughters: Stella Wiley of Ohio, Kim Sumpter of Owenton and Pam Richardson of Ohio. Eight grandchildren also survive: Mike Wiley, Kevin Burke, Jackie Burke, Troy Burke, Amanda Burke, Megan Wiley, Chad Goins and Brian Goins along with 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 18th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown location. Funeral service will be at 1:00 with Rev. Joe Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Broadridge Cemetery on Knoxville Road.
