Shirley Woods

Shirley Sutton Woods of Verona, KY was born September 12, 1937 in the South Fork community of Boone County and died Friday, October 28, 2016 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 79.

She was the daughter of the late Julius William and Sara Catherine Perry Sutton, a retired bank teller with PNC Bank in Union, KY, and a member of the Scenic View Church of Christ.

Surviving is 2 sons, Rick Peace of Verona and Kenny Peace of Huber Hts. OH; 3 daughters, Kim Niehaus of Villa Hills, KY, Julie Ashcraft of Union, KY, and Amanda Head of Union, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial in the Beaverlick Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
